Adobe Refuses to Attack Apple and Encourages Flash Development for Mobile

Adobe quietly listened to Apple’s attack and has now formed a new marketing initiative: The Open Screen Project. It is a brilliant marketing tactic. The main message is a “singular experience, multiple devices’ for encouraging solidarity between devices. Adobe posted a video with top names of the technical industries touting the the flash player.

To encourage the Flash Mobile Platform, Adobe is sponsoring three different contests to promote Flash games and applications for mobile devices. This campaign is very impressive and will gain momentum. It does not exclude anyone or require companies to adapt to new software. The Adobe Mobile site lists all the phones that read flash. It also has more information about contests for developers to create applications for these phones.
